Who is Tracey Brown?

Survivor • Advocate • Speaker • Holistic Wellness Architect

I am Tracey Brown, a survivor, a voice for the overlooked, and a guide for those searching for strength after life-altering adversity. My story is not one of easy victories, but of resilience, faith, and the unwavering belief that healing is possible — in the mind, body, and spirit.

In 2019, my life was forever changed by an ischemic stroke that left my left side paralyzed. Doctors doubted my recovery, but through faith, determination, and countless hours of rehabilitation, I reclaimed my mobility and discovered a calling far greater than myself. Then, in 2024, I faced another battle: breast cancer. After undergoing a bilateral mastectomy, I was declared cancer-free in 2025. These experiences, though painful, deepened my conviction that our greatest struggles can become the foundation of our greatest triumphs.

Out of these trials, my life’s work took form. I founded BodyTraceFit, a wellness company built on the principle of “Make It a LyfeStyle.” With over two decades of experience as a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and chef, I created BodyTraceFit to help others find sustainable health through fitness, nutrition, and holistic healing. My approach is not about quick fixes — it is about long-term transformation, aligning mind, body, and spirit.

But my journey also birthed something deeply personal: Stroking In My Stilettos, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to stroke and breast cancer survivors. What began as my fight to walk in stilettos again after my stroke evolved into a movement of advocacy, recovery, and empowerment. Today, Stroking In My Stilettos provides survivors and their families with recovery tools, community programs, and faith-based encouragement to live fully beyond their diagnosis.

The vision behind everything I do is simple yet profound: to show survivors and their loved ones that setbacks do not define us — our comebacks do. Through speaking engagements, survivor coaching, advocacy, and community work, I share my testimony so others can find strength in their own.

I am Tracey Brown. I am a stroke and breast cancer survivor. I am a holistic wellness architect. I am a voice for survivors everywhere. And my mission is to remind you that no matter what life throws at you, you are stronger than you think.

Every step you take forward, no matter how small, is a victory worth celebrating

You are not defined by what happened to you — you’re empowered by what you choose to become

Healing happens in community, in connection, in the person who stays beside you when you can’t stand alone.

Caregiving isn’t a role — it’s courage in motion. Your presence matters more than you’ll ever know.

Your body may carry the scar, but your spirit carries the story — and that story becomes someone else’s hope.

Make it a LyfeStyle: choose movement, choose connection, choose purpose — every day is your canvas.
